  Despite the adversity she faced growing up in Latvia, Keeana was determined to make music her life. Once she could afford to take vocal lessons, she also began teaching herself to play piano and guitar. Keeana quickly found a soulful timbre that is often compared to Sia and Rihanna, and after moving to the UK began performing in bars and clubs around London with the cover band, further developing her performance skills while writing her own music inspired by her idols Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Beyonce.
